What kind of atmosphere did you want for your wedding in Bali?
Greg and I are both aligned in our musical tastes, and we knew exactly what we wanted and didn't want. I come from a musical family, Greg is a musician himself in his spare time, and we especially love going to concerts and festivals whenever possible.
The music had to set the rhythm for each of our key moments. As a wedding photographer, Greg is used to attending wedding ceremonies and receptions almost every weekend. So I trusted him completely on that side. Greg therefore completely designed and wrote the ceremony, which was a total surprise for me. He decided to book an Australian acoustic group (Tobi Tobi), which was also a surprise – for the ceremony and the cocktail. I discovered at the start of the ceremony, the music that Greg had chosen. So I went to the altar – on my Dad's arm – to an acoustic version of 'Say Yes to Heaven' by Lana Del Rey. In order to set the rhythm for the speeches, especially the extremely moving one by Juliette, Greg's daughter, we had revisited versions of Neil Young (Heart of Gold), Damien Rice (The Blower's Daughter) but also and above all Draw Your Swords, by Angus and Julia Stone, which is our favorite song for both of us. We finally came out to 'You've Got the Love' by Florence & The Machine.

What about the music?
As part of my work, I am most connected to experiences through the senses and music was a very important part of our elopement. We discovered an incredible musical duo, Tobi Tobi and instantly felt connected to their style and whole vibe. We wanted to create a relaxed setting after the ceremony and hang out listening to our favorite songs acoustically in the garden, Tobi Tobi instantly understood our vision and made it so easy.
